This high energy hip hop class, taught by award-winning choreographer, Amanda Danishevsky, infuses styles of stomp, house, vogue, jazz funk, street dancing, popping and locking. This class welcomes the idea that hip-hop is not studio based, but rather street based. It emphasizes hip-hops origins which value passion for dance, exercise and community. Welcoming beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers to challenging themselves in multiple styles and strands of hip-hop with corresponding, fun and energetic music. The dynamic choreography allows for students of all levels to learn, adapt and grow as dancers. Students will also find themselves growing as freestyle hip-hop dancers, as this class allows for room to find your style in a welcoming environment that will challenge students to grow and shine.
Hip Hop II is the sequel class to Hip Hop I; this class allows you to further explore Hip Hop and Funk moves through new, more complex routines.
